Year of the Yang Fire丙 Horse 午 2026

The lunar new year will no doubt start off with a bang as the date happens to be the same day the eclipse hits on the 17.2.2026. The annular solar eclipse is in the sign of Aquarius at 28 degrees. Aquarius is the sign of humanity and this eclipse will stimulate humanity to evolve progress and stimulate philanthropic inspiration. This eclipse is one that brings scientific discoveries and new electronic devices not to mention discoveries in space. I will say under this eclipse expect shocking and usual events to occur especially when it comes to the paranormal and extraterrestrial phenomenon. Aquarius stimulates extremes, radicalization, lightening storms and destructive winds. Electro-magnetic poisoning is heightened as Aquarius rules electricity as does the fire element in Chinese astrology. Sudden and extreme changes in air pressure seem typical which we are already experiencing. Aquarius generally stimulates inspiration and imagination. Like the fire element great creative works of the mind appear in humour, science, technology and musical composition. Great ideas can come your way under an Aquarian eclipse as well as a pure fire element year we have with the Yang Fire 丙 Horse 午 which represents pure fire.

Eclipses in Aquarius also produce events effecting presidents, dictators and government. Great men and women appear on the scene or depart, dictators come and go. The heavenly stem ruling the year is Yang Fire 丙 (Bing) which connects to the planet Mars and the luminary the Sun. Generally fire element exemplifies high spirits, great faith, enthusiasm and honesty. For example a Yang Water 壬 Rat 子 day pillar pure water coming into Yang Fire 丙 Horse 午 pillar early and late in life is considered inauspicious. Fire to a Yang Water 壬 day pillar is the wealth element. The ancient Chinese will say that when wealth element comes in to early or late in life it can give rise to health issues as you can’t use the wealth element. I have noticed this plays out for people from all the charts I have done and this seems to have validation. Clash periods are always a good time to pay attention to health. Clashes with the with Yang Water 壬 day stem and Yang Fire 丙 Stem can give shoulder, upper back, headaches, small intestine and bladder problems which I have clinically observed over the years. The Horse 午 and Rat 子 Clash can give urinary tract problems from the bladder and small intestine pattern, not separating the pure from the impure fluids leading to infections and mental restlessness.
