Why Study Chinese Astrology?

The value of studying a subject like astrology is immense. There are many levels you can take the subject of astrology. My personal astrological journey started back when I began studying Chinese medicine. My main interest was medical astrology at that time and still is. I am also deeply connected to the archetypal nature of astrology which I find profound, the psychological aspects of astrology as well as the practical side of astrology.

I have a huge collection of books on the subject some are very rare and esoteric. However astrology does not have to be a deep mystery. The divination art of astrology’s aim is to make it practical so one can take home the core message of their chart and be able to apply it as best they can throughout their life. I look at astrology charts as a self reflective tool. It is like looking into the mirror. Understanding the cycles we move through in life can help us navigate our destiny.

My astrology school is based on Chinese astrology. I find Chinese astrology a great subject to teach as it is quite different from planetary astrology. My course is an introduction to the subject that gives a solid foundation. The course has the three parts:

If you are a teacher or a tutor astrology can be benefit to help students understand their learning capabilities. These are just a few basic examples.

Understanding yourself is the best investment you can ever make. Living our destiny is the greatest reward we give ourselves. We all have an individual destiny and no one can fulfill it but ourselves.
